GENERAL INFORMATION

Boat Launch:

After Labor Day (September 2, 2024), the launch will only be open on Fridays and weekends from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30  p.m.  The launch will close for  the season on Monday, October 14, 2024

 

Kayaks and Canoes can be stored on the racks from April 1st to October 31st.

There are currently no kayak rental spots available.

YOUTH RECREATION

The Joint Youth Program serves children from Cazenovia, Fenner and Nelson. The summer program information can be found at Cazenovia RecDesk.

PARK FACILITIES AND RESERVATIONS

January 2, 2024, the Village of Cazenovia will start taking reservations for the Park Facilities.

Events: Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce, Oneida Savings Summer Concert Series on Thursdays June -August. Lion’s Club Easter Egg Hunt. 4th of July Fireworks and Concert

Burton Street Fields
Location: Burton St., across from the Elementary School
Services: Baseball Field, Basketball Court, Ice Hockey Rink (in winter)

Services: Picnic Pavilions, Playground Equipment, Two Softball Fields, Sand Volleyball Court, Hand Launch and Kayak Canoe Racks, Boat Launch

Kayak Storage:   Applications for the 2024 season will start being issued March 4, 2024

Boat Launch: Use of the Boat Launch Ramp at Lakeside Park is by permit only.   Applications will be sent out in the beginning of March for the 2024 season.

Day passes are available Monday-Thursday for purchase at the Village Office.   Day passes are $30 and an application will need to be filled out along with a valid copy of your trailer and boat registration.

EVENTS INFORMATION

Farmers Market
The Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a weekly farmers market. It takes place every Saturday from May to October from 9 am until 1 pm.

Fireworks

Every year on the Fourth of July, Lakeland Park has a display of fireworks. They begin at dusk, and are preceded by a concert in the park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets
